Former member of the special operations clandestine unit known as MACV-SOG.  John ran missions as the 1-0 and 1-2 of Spike Team Idaho from May 1968 – April 1969. Following his time serving as a Green Beret in Vietnam, "Tilt" worked as a reporter and editor before devoting his efforts to the veterans community and working as a special operations history keeper. Thanks to the 20-year secrecy agreement expiring, he is now able to tell his story about the secret ops that occurred across the fence in Laos, Cambodia and North Vietnam.
