JOHN STRYKER MEYER
John Stryker Meyer is a former Green Beret and highly respected military historian, best known for his firsthand accounts of the clandestine operations conducted by MACV-SOG (Military Assistance Command, Vietnam – Studies and Observations Group) during the Vietnam War. John ran missions as the 1-0 and 1-2 of Spike Team Idaho from May 1968 – April 1969. As a veteran, author, and speaker, John has dedicated his post-service career to preserving the history and sacrifices of the elite warriors who fought in the shadows of the war. Thanks to the 20-year secrecy agreement expiring, he is now able to tell his stories about the secret ops that occurred across the fence in Laos, Cambodia and North Vietnam.
